PRP Therapy, how it is done:
We draw approximately 20mL of your blood which is spun up and separated in a special process allowing us to harvest a significant amount of Buffy Coat, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma). We then apply a local topical anesthesia, BLT (Benzocaine, Lidocaine and Tetracaine) to the areas that will be treated which reduces any major discomfort.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy utilizes the growth factors in your own blood plasma to stimulate collagen production and increase circulation. The PRP is separated from your blood and then injected in areas showing volume loss, translucency and sagging. In short, this treatment adds volume to your skin and stimulates cells to reproduce. Your PRP harvest is injected using very small syringes. This allows for an even stimulation of growth cells. We concentrate any extra PRP in the specific targets areas requiring more treatment.*
The last phase brings about tremendous results; Micro Needling Therapy creates tiny channels in the skin allowing for better penetration of growth factors applied topically.
